I obtained my Masters in Counseling from UT Austin in 2014 and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#73351). My goal as a therapist is to offer a space that feels safe enough to look honestly and with curiosity at your life. - Exploring underlying causes of chronic anxiety and depression
- Understanding how childhood trauma (abuse, neglect, bullying, loss, etc.) has affected you
- Undoing negative beliefs you internalized about yourself and the world when you were a child due to unfortunate circumstances
- Reducing isolation and improving your relationships with family, partners and friends
- Knowing you are worthy and lovable whether you are in a relationship or not, and having the ability to end a relationship when it is in your best interest
- Learning how to recognize abuse and unfair treatment as an adult and handle it assertively and appropriately
- Using distractions less (substances, TV, social media, fantasy, etc.) and facing your problems more
- Reducing shame and increasing healthy boundaries, self compassion and self care
